Sigh.... it's been a bad week for me....
First, all of us research students were given notice to move out
of our shared office to make way for some research
fellows.
I managed to get a new cubicle space near my lab, and it took
half a day to shift all my stuff over. My new cubicle has no LAN
point and very weak Wireless-G connection. I had to spend on a new
Wireless-N card for my PC as a result.
Then, my SAF New Balance shoes (which I wear daily) got worn out
at the inner heel, exposing the hard plastic heel support. This
gave me blisters.
As a result, I had to throw it away and order a new pair of
shoes. Luckily I still have eMart credits, and I'm spending them on
the new Asics shoes that the SAF is using.
